I have been asked these questions over and over again…

  1. “Why can’t I use lipbalm on my zippers and snaps,” or
  2. “Why shouldn’t I use Max Wax or Zipper Lube they cost less than Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax?
  3. Why should I use Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax instead of those brand name zipper lubricants?
  4. Why cant I go to any craft store and buy wax there?

WELL… where do I start? How about we address these in order!

  1. Besides the fact that if you get the lipbalm on your canvas it will stain it badly… lipbalms contain Petroletum which is a crude oil by-product. Petroletum while “great for your hands and skin” will destroy metals and plastics… so you are actually “harming your zipper housing by using lipbalm as you zipper lubricant. PLUS It would cost you over $30.00 in lip balm to equal the uses of one Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax. Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax is 100% natural, it’s great for your canvas and the zippers, it leaves no goopy mess, works better than any lipbalm and Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax lasts 30 times longer!
  2. Why shouldn’t I  Max Wax or Zipper Lube they cost less than Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax?  Sure you could use any of these products but remember Max Wax,  Zipper Lube, and other zipper lubricants contain silicone and that has been know to cause siliconosis a resperatory disorder that can be serious… In addition you only get 1.ounce for $5.00-$10.00 and that might last a season or two..then it dries out…. Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax lasts  season, after seanon, after season, after seanson… so much longer than ANY of those chemical or mineral based products…AND IT NEVER DRIES OUT!  Those other zipper lubricants are NOT ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE! They are not non-toxic, they are not safe for our seas, coral beds, and lakes! Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax is 100% natural, will not harm our enviroment, it could float in the water for years and never hurt a fish or coral, or ocean, or lake!
  3. You could use the name brands… but for all of the reasons listed above.why would you? ..So If you want a product that is 100% natural, non-toxic, safe for our seas and lakes, cost effective, works better than any other product out there with tons of uses… choose Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax… Don’t take it from me though… got to www.marineproductreviews.com .. and read what they have to say about  Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax!
  4. If you can find a craft store that has a 2.5″ diameter 1″ cake with a travel container that is 100% natural, triple filtered, ultra-purified, product like Bee’s Knees Zipper Wax for less than $15.00…do it! Remember craft shop waxes usually have parafin as a base. Parafin contains octane and methane  AND those chemicals are harmful to the environment and your canvas!
